We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team. In this key role, you will lead a team of talented researchers and engineers, driving groundbreaking AI solutions. We are looking for a leader who combines a deep passion for cutting-edge research with the ability to manage complex projects and inspire innovation within the team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead a research and development team seeking and developing new AI solutions, as well as launching enhancements to existing features
  • Contribute to and support the development strategy and roadmaps for the core technologies within team’s areas of responsibilities, aligned with Company’s business needs
  • Develop and communicate development strategy, plans and projects’ progress to stakeholders
  • Effectively apply state of the art software engineering methods, optimize development processes and define metrics to meet highest quality standards and KPIs
  • Stay on top of trends and advancements in AI and Data Science methods and effectively apply them into research and development practices
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and across the broader global organization, leveraging best practices and lessons learned from across the company

Skills and Qualifications

  • MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • 7 or more years in leading R&D engineering teams
  • Strong track record of participation and leading research and development projects
  • Deep expertise in AI/ML/Data Science methods and algorithms, and experience in applying them for product or service development
  • Proven leadership abilities, with excellent organizational skills and the capacity to develop and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, reporting to executive-level management
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • PhD degree and research achievements in AI or Data Science field
  • Experience in working with international R&D projects/engineering teams
  • Programming skills (Python, R, Java, C++), experience working with large datasets
  • Strong expertise across broad computer science fundamentals: hardware, operating systems, software, data structures, and networking
