Internship - C/C++ Intern for 5G RAN

About our Team

We are working on the cutting-edge commercial solutions for the fifth generation wireless technology for top class cellular networks (5G) in Cracow office. We are creating software for the Radio access network (RAN) used by customers around the world.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Help in creation of code and tools for 5G infrastructure for commercial projects
  • Help in creation of proof of concept
  • Continuous improvement of programming skills in advanced algorithmic design
  • Cooperation with Colleagues from other Samsung R&D Centers around the world

Technologies in use

  • C/C++ 11+, Python, Bash, Yang
  • CI/CD, Perforce, Git
  • Jenkins/QuickBuild
  • 3GPP specification
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Microservice Architecture
  • Openstack

Skills and Qualifications

  • Programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python languages
  • Experience in software development for Linux
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in the Team
  • Open mind
  • English at communicative level
  • Full time job availability (hybrid)

Nice to have

  • Experience in software development applications for Linux systems
  • Telecom architecture and protocol knowledge
  • Student or graduated of telecommunication, electronics, computer science, robotics or similar
  • Software development for Cloud Systems
  • Python programming skills
  • Multithread application development knowledge
