We’re looking for an Automation Tester passionate about gadgets, IoT and smart devices, who’ll be mainly responsible for testing “Labs” features in SmartThings app. You may be the one who makes things a little more connected and a lot smarter.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build test infrastructure for new or existing projects from scratch, with a focus on automation
  • Define testing strategy
  • Identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve agreed coverage
  • Independent execution of assigned tasks, including self-organization of work and conducting assigned manual and automatic tests

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing
  • Either hands on experience of test automation using Java and Selenium, Protractor, Cypress or similar
  • Backend testing skills – conversant in databases (DB2, Oracle), SQL knowledge (use of DBVisualizer)
  • Experience of using RestAssured framework to test APIs (RESTFul)
  • Identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good in English communication for working
