Senior/Principal C++ Software Engineer in Web Engine & Multimedia Team

Role and Responsibilities

  • Development in Chromium web engine and Tizen OS.
  • Working with a large codebase and finding most optimal solutions.
  • Designing, prototyping, measuring, validating and delivering product software.
  • Being great at code quality and code review.
  • Working with Linux, in a team up to 10 members.

 

Technologies in use

  • C++14, C++17
  • Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
  • WebRTC, FFmpeg, GStreamer, MSE
  • WebAssembly
  • Chromium, GoogleTest, GN (Generate-Ninja)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of C++14 and STL
  • Experience with multi-thread and multi-process programming
  • Loving Linux and Git
  • Practice with design patterns
  • Experience with large codebases
  • Pythonic skills
  • Creating instant memes

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1) and multimedia pipelines
  • Practical knowledge of FFmpeg, GStreamer
  • Knowing Chromium source code
  • Experience with embedded software
  • Playing an instrument
