Technical Program Manager

About our Team

Our Team is one of the largest speech and language processing teams in Europe.

We work closely with other R&D teams to develop and test the next-generation personal Intelligent Assistant. In our lab engineers, researchers and language experts work together on innovative products for European market.

Samsung R&D Poland office is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to support management of Intelligent Assistant projects that create the future of voice services.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing IT projects (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Supporting leaders of the projects, with business analysis and leadership skills as well as stakeholder communication including R&D Teams, Headquarters, EU Business Offices, etc.
  • Analyzing results, trends and adjusting directions,
  • Managing risks, monitoring progress, deadlines and milestones completion,
  • Coordinating regular reporting with a number of stakeholders (different seniority levels)
  • Organizing quarterly reviews and meetings with executives,
  • English is the main language of communication at work.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Up to 5 years of experience managing complex projects or programs in IT, Software Development,
  • Up to 5 years of Experience of Project Management knowledge areas,
  • Certification in Project Management, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Management experience of change, priorities and strategy,
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle,
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills,
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office,
  • Fluency in business English (verbally and in writing),
  • English certification C1 level or equivalent minimum.

Nice to Have

  • Communication skills in any of the following languages would be a plus: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, Romanian,
  • Experience in GIT, Github, Jenkins,
  • Experience/interest in Natural Language processing related projects,
  • Knowledge of any programming language,
